Covid-19 has affected all aspects of our lives, not least the energy sector. But what has its impact been on the transition to a low-carbon economy and how is this changing as countries come out of lockdown and try to kickstart their economies? Are initiatives aimed at driving an economic recovery pushing companies to accelerate their decarbonisation efforts?
We will use the findings of the survey to help us examine whether Covid-19 has been a turning point in corporate climate action or whether companies are focused on simply getting back on their feet with little regard for emissions reduction and greater efficiency.
